I’m a Creative Art Director & Designer UI/UX who believes that ideas lead to tangible benefits in any field, but mainly to a better world, by creating bright human connections. My job is to help companies tell their beautifully crafted stories.
Since I graduated as Graphic Designer, I decided to travel to live and work in Barcelona, Spain, due to some of my family roots. Life took me to Córdoba, Argentina, and Boston and Miami, in the United States, where I have lived since. In the meantime, I traveled for the simple love of traveling, and that’s how I expanded my connection with people from different backgrounds and how I mastered my multiculturalism.
Born to love colors, typography, shapes, beauty, images, and aesthetics in any kind of visual expression. One day, I realized that I needed to master how to visually tell stories; whether it is in a Brand identity, a poster, a packaging, an animation, a presentation, a digital experience or any user interface. That’s how I decided to go back to school to get my Art Director degree at Miami Ad School. It was fun! It was 24/7 creative! And multicultural. Loved it!
Over 20 years, I have worked in many different roles: from startups to medium companies, to advertising, to corporate; to Fortune 500 clients; I have owned and managed my own design & printing business and have been a co-founder of Asociación ProDiseño, School of Design & Visual Communication. And many different industries: Healthcare, Skincare, Beauty, Art, Financial, Education, and Telecommunications, among others.
I have witnessed how creativity has changed over time, for talent and for companies. We all have to adapt to survive, and now; we will continue to adapt in the digital era. I have played with Atari 2600, and I remember when my father brought home the Apple Macintosh in 1984. Gone through all these:
• Multiple 3 ½-inch floppy disk to install Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, Painter…
• Syquest removable storage system 44MB
• Iomega Zip drives
• Recordable CDs and DVDs
• SD Cards
• the Cloud
Yes, I have gone through all this. So, if you ask me: Are you ready for AI? H*ll yeahh!
I like to be mindful of this: AI is a powerful tool, not a replacement for:
1. Human creativity
2. Common sense reasoning
3. Emotions
4. Empathy and compassion
5. Intuition
6. Multiculturalism
